This week in the craziest cruise news, we covered a Choppy Waters Edition of “The Case of The Pew Pew”. Last week, a story went viral about Kendra Gordon and Travis Rainey. Kendra posted a video on Meta FB/IG about an incident that occurred in April of this year. In the video, Kendra bragged about being able to bring a firearm onboard a Carnival Cruise Ship.

In my recent video, I discussed the unique considerations of cruising during hurricane season. It can be a great time to take a cruise, as you'll often find lower prices and fewer crowds. However, it's essential to be prepared for potential weather disruptions.

Here are four key tips for cruising during hurricane season:

1. Purchase travel insurance. This is always a good idea when traveling, but it's essential during hurricane season. Travel insurance can protect you from financial losses if your cruise is canceled or interrupted due to a hurricane.

2. Be flexible with your itinerary. Hurricanes can be unpredictable, so it's important to be flexible with your itinerary. Be prepared to change your ports of call or even your entire route if necessary.

3. Pack essentials for potentially rough seas. Seas can be rough during hurricane season, so pack accordingly. Bring seasickness medication, comfortable clothing, and plenty of entertainment options in case you're stuck in your cabin.

5. Stay informed about weather conditions. Monitor the weather forecast closely leading up to your cruise and during your trip. Several resources are available online and through your cruise line that can help you stay informed.
